"Nothing lasts forever"
From now on when you feel overwhelmed, go ahead, let out a big sigh. I know that sighing is something we usually do whenever we are bored and gets little notice. But, actually, the act of sighing is more important than you may think. In spite of not being done consciously, sighing has been recognized for having a positive impact on our mind and body, because it is an effective way to release inner tensions and normalize your breathing rate.
Furthermore, sighing is an instantaneous, natural way for the body to decompress by allowing it to take in more oxygen and release CO2. When we get to sighing, it means we have decided to let go of our own control for the time being. This allows us to shift the game plan or even bend the rules with a little sigh.
When you are ready, sigh audibly – It really does make a difference to the whole body. In fact, do this several times a day. And when you're in one of those pain modes remember, "Nothing lasts forever." Your pain may feel completely different tomorrow.
