Zum Bars Offer Natural Cleansing

It is believed that fibromyalgia suffers may possess an intolerance to life's daily toxins.  Unfortunately, these toxins can be found in most items we purchase.  And, furthermore, the skin being the largest organ our body hosts drinks in all these atrocities daily.  Why just check out your personal care products and notice if they contain any of these substances:

1. IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLLCARBAMATE
Reproductive system toxicity.

2.LECITHIN Penetration enhancer.

3. RESORCINOL Possible human carcinogen.

4. FDC YELLOW 6 Possible human carcinogen.

5.PARABENS Reproductive system toxicity.

6. SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE Gastrointestinal toxicity.

7. PROPYLENE GLYCOL Immune toxicant.

8 TOCOPHERYL ACETATE Immune toxicant.

9.FRAGRANCE Immune toxicant.

10. DISODIUM DTA Penetration  enhancer.

Why put your body in undue stress by contributing toxins that may inflict more chronic pain?  Take steps to rid your body of daily toxins where ever possible.  Especially in your bathroom!  I recently purchased a Zum Bar and was pleasantly surprised  with the results.  Not only did I feel I was cleansing my body naturally, but the aroma was a meditational adventure in itself.  Zum Bars include: Zum Bar Frankincense & Myrrh-3 oz., Indigo Wild: Zum Bar Goat's Milk Soap, Dragon's Blood 3 oz, Earth Tones Zum Bars by Indigo Wild, Frankincense Patchouli Zum Bars Multipack (5 Count) by Indigo Wild, Zum Bar sea salt, Indigo Wild Zum Bar Goats Milk Soap 3 oz Sandle & Citrus, Indigo Wild: Zum Bar Goat's Milk Soap, Coffee & Almond 3 oz, Earth And Sea Zum Bars by Indigo Wild, Frankincense And Lavender Zum Bars Multipack (5 Count by Indigo Wild), to name a few.

"If you're good in this life, maybe you'll come back as a Zum Bar in
your next life. This natural soap has the good stuff of goat's milk, 100% pure
essential oils, veggie oils, herbs, natural glycerin and natural mineral
pigments. But why? Well, it's better than stuff like tallow (beef fat) or PEG-6
methyl ether (a thickener) or tetrasodium EDTA (water softener) or lard (yeah,
no explanation necessary).

The bad stuff in un-natural soap is obvious, but some wonderers wonder, "Why
use goat's milk?" Well, there's an udder difference in the pH balance of goat's
milk. Goat's milk makes our natural soap more akin to the skin than anything
else - not too alkaline, not too acidic, but just right. So it doesn't dry skin
or leave it feeling oily.

What's inside? All-natural ingredients you can pronounce.
Saponified 100% food grade olive, coconut, palm
& castor oils, in a goat's milk base, with herbs, pure essential oils and
natural colorings." - taken from Indigo Wild Website

Hydro Flask for Drinking Containers

I'm in love!  I've been in search of a water bottle that would be safe and eco-friendly for my readers.  Despite my diligent efforts in pre reading product information, I had to send several back.  Then finally it came!  The purple Hydro Flask Acai 40 ounce, or in black,  insulated stainless steel water bottle of true luxury!  Enough to keep water ice cold for eight hours.  Yes, you heard me right, I can take this water bottle with me all day, and still have ice cubes in the container six hours after filling it from the morning!  And, get this, no water bottle sweating since it is richly coated in beautiful insulation.  I picked the larger size as I know I must drink half my weight in water to alleviate symptoms of pain.  If you need a smaller edition there is a 24 ounce container in black, purple, white or blue.  I wouldn't recommend going below those sizes as you know the importance of drinking a good amount of water each day.  For the adventurous there is the 64 ounce container for longer outings.

Research has shown that people with fibromyalgia often have zinc, calcium, and magnesium deficiencies - deficiencies that can be supplemented by drinking eight to ten glasses of mineralized water a day. Although many of the other symptoms of fibromyalgia will need more than water to overcome them; drinking
water can help you feel better, and can ease the pain associated with fibromyalgia.

Chronic fatigue syndrome  recovery and fibromyalgia remedies involve taking a hard look at what goes into your body. It even takes overturning a few rocks to discover hidden dangers that can prolong recovery. One of these dangers is bisphenol A (BPA).

New research from the US suggests that people who drink from bottles made of  polycarbonate plastic, such as that used to make hard-plastic drinking bottles  and baby bottles, have a considerably higher level of the chemical bisphenol A  (BPA) in their bodies compared to when they do not.  The finding confirms concerns expressed by consumer groups and public health experts, that polycarbonate plastic bottles are an important source of the BPA that finds its way into the human body. BPA has been shown to interfere with
reproductive development in animals, and has been linked to cardivascular disease and diabetes in  humans, among other things.

BPA is considered an endocrine disruptor because it mimics estrogen, a natural hormone. It can trick the body into causing reactions that are unnecessary and potentially harmful.

Even trace amounts of BPA exposure have been linked to a number of health
problems including:

Obesity
Cancer, including breast cancer
Impaired brain function
Brain and hormone development problems in fetuses and young children
Hyperactivity and impaired learning
Altered immune function
Early puberty and reproductive system abnormalities
Cardiovascular system damage
Resistance to chemotherapy
Liver abnormalities
Spontaneous miscarriages and genetic damage from chromosomal errors
Erectile dysfunction and other sexual problems in men

One of the most restorative investments I made recently was attaining a Himalayan salt lamp.  This luscious red glow embraces my room into an island paradise allowing me time to rest and rejuvinate with its healing powers.  There are many healthful benefits in purchasing a salt lamp.

Himalayan salt lamps have been recommended by Dr. Oz for possible health benefits due to increased  negative ion count in the air around you. Negative ions can help you feel tranquil and relaxed. Whether you're looking for a meditation aid or just want to boost the air quality and ambiance around you, himalayan salt lamps can help in pain reduction.

Natural salt lamps are said to:

  • Improve air quality by reducing air pollution, airborne dust particles, and
    airborne bacteria and viruses

  • Reduce symptoms of asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinusitis, and other
    respiratory diseases

  • Reduce the effects of Season Affective Disorder (SAD) and other mood
    problems

  • Reduce stress

  • Improve concentration

  • Relieve headaches and migraines

  • Reduce feelings of fatigue and insomnia

Reducing pain and creating a tranquil enviornment is number one when you are a chronic pain sufferer.  Invest in a salt lamp today and invite the

Eat Right for Your Type Helps Fibromyalgia Symptoms

I have to believe one of my most pivotal points in the road to self healing was reading the book Eat Right for Your Type by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo.  I had implemented a new diet regime, thanks to an elimination diet, but was still warding off the daily mini flare-ups that were bringing disdain to my life.  And you know when you are in pain, negative emotions and thoughts begin to rule the day.  I began implementing Dr. D'Adamo's benificial foods to my daily regiment and what I found was astounding.  These simple additions to my diet decreased my flare-ups by 90%.  Hence the truth, diet is 85% of fibromyalgia suffers pain.  I can't state this enough, if you are not on the Phase 1 Finding Relief plan, you are inviting unnecessary pain into your life.  Yes, it may be time consuming, but your overall health is worth it.  Don't let this illness take you down.

The Blood Type Diet was created by Dr. Peter D'Adamo, who claims that your blood type determines the right foods for your health. There are four blood types and each one emphasizes certain medicinal, beneficial foods and foods to be avoided. D'Adamo claims that the diet will result in weight loss and will also improve your overall health. It goes further stating that  D'Adamo, a naturopathic doctor, believes that your blood type also determines your susceptibility to certain illnesses and how you should exercise to prevent reoccurrences. Always talk with your doctor before beginning a new diet program.

Various Blood Types:

If you're blood type O ("for old," as in humanity's oldest blood line) your digestive tract retains the memory of ancient times, says D'Adamo, so you're metabolism will benefit from lean meats, poultry, and fish. You're advised to restrict grains, breads, and legumes, and to enjoy vigorous exercise.

Type A ("for agrarian") flourishes on vegetarian diets, "the inheritance of their more settled and less warlike farmer ancestors," says D'Adamo. The type A diet contains soy proteins, grains, and organic vegetables and encourages gentle exercise.

The nomadic blood type B has a tolerant digestive system and can enjoy low-fat dairy, meat, and produce but, among other things, should avoid wheat, corn, and lentils, D'Adamo says. If you're type B, it's recommended you exercise moderately.

The "modern" blood type AB has a sensitive digestive tract and should avoid chicken, beef, and pork but enjoy seafood, tofu, dairy, and most produce. The fitness regimen for ABs is calming exercises.

Ruthla writes, "While this isn't a strictly LC plan, it IS another diet book that claims to be a lifestyle and promote overall health. I have fibromyalgia, and I've experienced incredible improvements when I've identified and removed food triggers; I'm wondering if this book can help me identify even more triggers and
help me experience an even higher level of health."

The most astounding point while reading this book was that many of the foods that  I should avoid were already on my hit list.  Furthermore, most of the foods I already enjoyed were part of my daily selection.  There were a few nuances on food groups I could not fathom, but overall, implementing beneficial foods into my diet marked improvement in pain.  You can get a quick glimpse of your blood type at Dr. Lam's Body, Mind, Nutrition website.  Just search the website for your blood type and print off the easy to read chart. But, I do recommend reading the book as it holds numerous valuable information regarding your every day health.
